Our tournaments are social events without Elo/UKD rankings or arbiters. Players make decisions among themselves with mutual respect and affection.
Our tournaments are played in chess-loving venues. Music continues throughout the tournament.
There is no age restriction in our tournaments. Participants ranging from 7 to 75 years old have attended our events to date.
Registrations are made via an online form. Registrations are closed automatically when the quotas are filled.
Since quotas are limited, we kindly request that only those who are certain to attend register so as not to prevent others from participating.
No waiting list is created. If someone informs us they cannot attend, the registration form will be reopened one day before the event date.
Participation rights for those who register and do not attend without notice will be postponed for one year.
The swissonlinetournament.com pairing program is used in the tournaments.
A player who makes two impossible moves and whose match timer expires loses the match.
The winner receives 1 point, the loser 0 points, and a tie receives 0.5 points.
The player with the most points wins the competition.
The winner receives a medal.
The top 3 finishers qualify for the year-end final tournament.
