We see that in every field where women lag behind men, including chess, women are not given equal opportunities.
We give particular attention to increasing women’s participation. Rather than treating women as a separate target group, we focus on removing environmental and social barriers, creating opportunities for equal participation, and fostering a chess culture in which everyone could feel welcome.
