Chesslovers Agenda<\/strong><\/p>\n

Introduction<\/strong><\/p>\n

We, as Chesslovers, know that all valuable elements of the chess community have the capacity to come together and make great strides. As Chesslovers, we are taking action to restore the prestige of chess.<\/p>\n

Chess Players<\/strong><\/p>\n

As Chesslovers, our first priority is the chess players, who consititute the main element of chess. When chess players don’t play chess, all other elements of chess lose their meaning.<\/p>\n

As \u2018Thinkers\u2019, chess players were one of the intellectual components of the society as artists, scientists and philosophers. This position was lost and should be regained. Chess is more than a competition.<\/p>\n

It is unfortunate that those who have made a profession out of chess and achieved success as athletes often face financial difficulties. To prevent such a situation, chess needs to regain its respectability. This is one of the reasons for our association’s existence.<\/p>\n

3rd Spaces<\/strong><\/p>\n

We define 3rd space as a place of interaction.\u00a0 Specifically in the context of chess, 3rd space is a place where chess players can create synergy with artists, scientists and philosophers and regain respactability.<\/p>\n

We will convert concert halls, art galleries, cafes, and pubs chess-lover by organising\u00a0 chess events there.<\/p>\n

In 3rd spaces, chess becomes visible in the real world and gain prestige.<\/p>\n

Chess Clubs<\/strong><\/p>\n

3rd spaces doest not exclude chess clubs, rather feed them.<\/p>\n

The establishment of well-established and sustainable chess clubs in every province significantly contributes to the game of chess.<\/p>\n

Women<\/strong><\/p>\n

We believe that women are equal to men in terms of rights and abilities.<\/p>\n

We see that in every field where women lag behind men, including chess, women are not given equal opportunities.<\/p>\n

We witness that some female administrators make decisions that are more detrimental to women.<\/p>\n

Today, the number of women who can participate in chess is quite low compared to men. One of our association’s main goals is to popularize chess among women.<\/p>\n

We believe that if they receive adequate training, women chess players who can be candidates for world championships.<\/p>\n

Women should have access to chess training of equal quality and for the same duration as men. When they receive good training, women have the capacity to achieve equal success with men in chess.<\/p>\n

We will fight to ensure that women are given the opportunity to participate in a sufficient number of tournaments throughout the year.<\/p>\n

We will cooperate with administrative bodies to encourage women’s participation in chess.<\/p>\n

We will work to ensure that women who start playing chess do not give up.<\/p>\n

We will work to obtain press support to encourage women’s participation in chess.<\/p>\n

We will use all our resources to combat violence, harassment, and humiliation against women in every environment where chess is played.<\/p>\n

Children and Youth<\/strong><\/p>\n

Children and young people who play chess by planning, rather than moving pieces intentionally, can succeed in everything they do in the future and make the world a better place. Therefore, we highly value the introduction of chess to every child and young person.<\/p>\n

Chess Education and Coaching<\/strong><\/p>\n

We believe that a planned chess education model should be implemented that can bring a talented beginner to the grandmaster level. For this, the establishment of scouting teams and chess schools would be beneficial. As with everything else, we believe that meritocracy should be the basis of chess education and coaching.<\/p>\n

Economic conditions should not prevent children and young people from receiving a good chess education.<\/p>\n

We do not accept the exploitation of children and young people in the chess education process. Children’s families should not be deceived with false promises.<\/p>\n

Disasters<\/strong><\/p>\n

We beleive that chess as a game can be a great psychological support for people, especially for childen who suffered from disasters.<\/p>\n

Seniors (Veterans)<\/strong><\/p>\n

The knowledge and experience of veterans are very valuable to us.<\/p>\n

We will work to ensure that the memories of veterans are passed on to new generations.<\/p>\n

We will take initiatives to provide the necessary conditions to increase the participation of veterans in tournaments.<\/p>\n

Science and Technology<\/strong><\/p>\n

In this century, many \u201cwindows of chess\u201d are opening up to science and technology.<\/p>\n

We will follow new scientific and technological developments related to chess and announce them to the chess community.<\/p>\n

We will contact universities to conduct research on the popularization of chess and the provision of more scientific education.<\/p>\n

We will contact the sociology and women’s studies departments of universities to promote the popularity of chess among women.<\/p>\n

We will contact the psychology departments of universities regarding the psychological development of chess players.<\/p>\n

Way of Communication<\/strong><\/p>\n

We adopt transparency as our method.<\/p>\n

We will work to help all chess enthusiasts to realize their own strengths.<\/p>\n

There will never be fearwalls in our community. Suggestions and criticisms are always welcomed.<\/p>\n

We will follow new technologies and benefit from them.<\/p>\n

International Relations<\/strong><\/p>\n

Chess is a universal game that eliminates prejudices.<\/p>\n

The Chess-Lovers embraces all chess lovers in the world.<\/p>\n
